The one and only! The first time I saw Deerhoof was at a small club in St. Paul called Big V’s in 2002. Satomi Matsuzaki the lead singer and bassist has so much energy and coordination. How you play angular and intricate riffs, while singing and yet still manage to make up choreographed dance moves is beyond me. They are all super talented and luckily still making music after all of these years. Enjoy!
this is one of the best live performances I’ve seen by them! good find:)

Thank you for resurfacing this gem! Deerhoof are like none other. I effing love them. Their rhythmic discord is always a comfort and poetry to my ears.

Kitty & I saw them at the Walker in 2007. It was so good, so complex/intricate/jamming and yes… choreography. Yay!
